Ahhh, classroom parties. Won't be ashamed to admit it...I LOVE THEM! It's the one time during the school season I can come in and see all the kids in my children's classes. Kind of like seeing the animals in their natural environment! Plus you get to chat with their teacher(s) and other parents. I will miss it when my youngest gets to that age where they don't have parties anymore. Do you get to volunteer at school?
These hearts were cut out as part of a musical game called "My Funny Valentine". I got the idea from Pinterest and a few other blogs online. The students walk in a circle from heart to heart when the music plays. When the music stops, the student on the pink heart has to do something funny. (I cut some slips of paper with ideas such as "make a funny face" or "roar like a lion" in a bag and they picked a slip).
The "Heart Lava" didn't get to be played because of time restraints. But the idea behind that was to only stand on the two (of the four) pieces of paper and move from one side of the room to the other. Only using the paper to get across.
These all were done with my Cricut, and old Hero Arts (I think, it's so old that the labeling has worn off of it), and my trusty Stampin' Up! Roll Stamp with an X's & O's wheel.
A place to show off all of my crafts that I do in what little free time I have!

Loving my new cartridge....TEAM SPIRIT from Cricut!!
Two weeks ago I purchased Team Spirit off of Amazon.com. When it came in the mail three days later, I was so excited to open it. Finally!! A tougher looking mascot for my children's school! It's ok to have a "cute" little tiger for the Elementary years, but as they get older-it just won't work.
After putting one together, the older kids were in love!! Here's what it looked like...
So, with school starting soon, binders could not be plain. My son got so many complements on his
two binders I made. Even from the teachers!!
After that, I was on a roll!! Next was water bottles. Now I am currently looking to make the whole football team water bottles with the tiger and their numbers!! Just have to find only 25 water bottles to add the vinyl tiger too.

I also added a small tiger with the sports that my kids play as a decal on my van. There isn't a picture of that....yet. I am hoping to post these onto Cricut's message board, but it all depends on how the system works with me today. I "had issues" with google earlier trying to blog from my Picasa account. Wish me luck!

Senior Nite
Senior Celebration Night during one of the last Home Football Games. I was out of patterned black paper, so I created my own with some stamps from Stampin' Up. I will go back later and type which carts I used on all of the pages. Right now the names escape me!

Graduation Page!
This started out as an entirely different design and somehow I ended up with this. Thanks Missy for helping me get my creative idea flowing, since when I started I was completely brain dead on ideas. Ever have those moments, when your ready to work and then suddenly the creative flow just hits a wall??? I hope the graduate likes her album.
Congrats Becca!!

Concert Page
The hardest thing about this page was finding a flute in my carts. But I found one on Joys of the Season. I guess I can say that the worse thing about doing this page was the fancy swirls, which when trying to remove them from my mat I almost ripped them in half! I still love them!

More Grad Stuff
Sorry about the blurry parts of the photo. With all this lovely rainy, gloomy weather we've been having it was hard to get a good shot of this. One color was a glittery orange and everytime I used the flash, it rebounded off of it. Got the inspiration from a book, my good friend Missy showed me, from Jeanette R. Lynton. I love the fact that she has everything, not only mapped out, but sizes and what to cut so that you don't waste paper! Wonderful book, may end up buying my own!!
Another Bank Done!
Got another bank done, but this time I got paid for it!! Yea!! But, wasn't sure how to do it, since it I really didn't know the person it was for. But, the customer liked it and that's what really matters. I do like using the plastic boxes more now, than the first time I used them. You can decorate the inside, which can add more dimension to it.

Back at the Senior Album again
I'm slowly making process on my gift album.
The watch it fly is for track-shotput. I wanted to leave space for her to add her own track photos, but it still seems like it's missing something. Anyone have any ideas?

Diaper Cake for Baby Shower
This is my first attempt at a diaper cake. I will say that I had fun making it! Hope the Mom-To-Be likes it!

Gift for a Baby Shower
Orginally, when I though of doing this, it was going to be made out of a glass block. I quickly changed my mind and used the Acryllic boxes you can find at Pat Catans. It comes apart and makes it really easy to decorate the inside in addition to the outside. It's a bank for a cousin's baby shower. I wanted something cute & hip instead of a traditional bank.

Missy's Turkey

This was sent to me tonight from my friend. She loves her Cricut as much as I do and is always looking for ideas. She came up with this one from something she saw at Target. It was made by using Walk In The Garden (one that I have picked up numerous times and closely looked at it). The characters she used from it was cornflower & vase2. Also used was a candle punch & regular hole punch. GREAT JOB MISSY! (Still remember the pooh bear you made me!)
